T-Seals (Tee-seals)

T-seals can be used as a substitute for O-ring in reciprocating or static applications. The cross-section of the seal resembles a "T". The basic T section of the T-seal is an elastomer which performs the sealing function while the sides of the T-seal are filled up by a pair of backup rings. The backup rings are made of hard plastic to offer anti-extrusion property. The sealing action of a T-seal is similar to that of an O-ring but offers higher pressure application. The T-seals also offer resistance to spiralling and any tendency to twist in the groove.

T-seals (Tee-seals) for Piston Seals Application

DAP20		T-seals DAP20 is for sealing piston application. It is good for both static and double-acting pressure applications. Operating pressure of up to 500 bar, speed of 0.1 m/s, operating temperature will depend on combination of materials.
DAP32		T-seals DAP32 is for demanding sealing piston application. It is good for both static and double-acting pressure applications. Operating pressure of up to 500 bar, speed of 0.1 m/s, operating temperature will depend on combination of materials.
DAP34		The operating principal of T-seals DAP34 is similar to T-seals DAP32 except that the bottom part is made of a softer elastomer while the top part is made of a harder elastomer.
DAP54		The operating principal of T-seals DAP54 is similar to T-seals DAP32 and T-seals DAP34.
