Materials Selection

The materials that we use to manufacture the products encompass a wide range of engineering materials such as plastics, elastomers, metals, and ceramics. At Advanced Sealing Devices, we not only offer standard type of materials such as Nitrile, (Acrylonitrile Butadiene NBR), hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR), carboxylated nitrile (XNBR), Polyacrylate (ACM), ethylene proplyene (EPDM, EPM), butyl (IIR), silicone (MVQ, MFQ, MPVQ), Chloroprene (CR), Ethylene Acrylic (AEM), fluorosilicon (FMQ, FVMQ), hydrolysis resistant polyurethane (HPU), fluorocarbon (FKM, Viton), perfluoroelastomer (FFKM, Kalrez, Perlast), Tefrafluoroethylene Propylene Copolymer (Aflas, FEPM), Nylon, polyacetal (POM, Delrin, Acetal), PTFE, PTFE Carbon, PTFE Glass, PTFE Graphite, PTFE Bronze ; we can also compound and formulate special materials according to your specification. The work will be carried out in our well-equipped in-house laboratory. In selecting a suitable material for your system, we consider stresses, strains, creep, friction, modulus, chemical compatibility, operating temperatures, and microstructure.
